and Earth’s!

It was a daring, successful venture of a couple billion dollars for NASA when the Rover Curiosity landed on our red neighbor. It its latest mission to probe into the potential for Martian life by exploring and analyzing the planet’s terrain, we might be able to answer the haunting question of whether there is indeed life as we know it outside Earth. While certainly it might hard to imagine other humanoid forms in our harsh solar system, could Mars at least play or have ever played host to just primitive extremophiles better able to tolerate the conditions on the planet? Until arriving at answers to such questions, we’ll just have to keep an eye on Curiosity’s further snapshots into Martian science!
